Standard Policy for Imprint Processes: Screen Sizes are determined by the mat size and logo configurations within set screen dimensions. The tooling
charge for embossed matting is dependent upon the size of desired image. All customized logos are subject to
an art set-up charge. Slot screens: Available up to 20 spaces. Message placement: The client must give written
instructions as to logo placement. All logos are centered unless otherwise instructed by the customer.
Artwork
We have thousands of regional and national
logos in stock. No charges are associated with these
logos. For new artwork, camera-ready artwork is
desirable, but not required. A letter-head, business
card or detailed drawing will suffice in most cases.
Faxed copies will generally begin production: however,
we will require an original of the desired images to
guarantee our work. We are not responsible for
discrepancies associated with a fax transmission.
Very intricate logos may require slight modifications.
Message Placement
All mats will be centered unless noted otherwise.

Images larger than listed sizes will incur an additional
screen charge.
Our primary consideration when placing any message
on a mat is the balance between the message and the
background. Measurements listed may vary to achieve
this balance.
Changes in Artwork
Changes to custom artwork can be made prior
to the development of the art screen at no charge.
Changes after producing art screen will result in new
set up charges equal to the original.
Order Acceptance
All orders must be confirmed in writing. We do
accept fax transmissions, but are not responsible
for errors as a result of an unclear fax. Phone orders
are also accepted to expedite an order, but must be
confirmed in writing within 72 hours.
Lead Time/Rush Orders
Normal lead time for shipping is 15 working days
on Olefin and Pro Pin single colors: all other products
4-6 weeks for single and multi-color imprints. A 20%
surcharge will apply to all orders with a lead time of
10 working days. Surcharge applies to entire invoice
amount. Please factor shipping from East Tennessee
factory for delivery date. Special shipping may
be required.
Pricing Policy
All prices are FOB Eastern Tennessee and are
priced on a per each basis.
Cancellations
The customer is responsible for any costs
associated with an order prior to cancellation.
Packaging
All mats are packed one (1) per carton unless
otherwise instructed. 18"x27", 2'x3', Fresco and
Screen Print mats will be bulk packed unless
otherwise instructed.
Sales Terms
Invoice terms are Net 30 days subject to credit
approval. All invoices for merchandise and freight
are to be paid in full as invoiced within stated terms.
Delinquent accounts are subject to 1 1/2% monthly
interest charge, should collection be necessary customer
will be held accountable for costs associated with the
collections process.
Shipping Terms
We will ship the least expensive manner unless
otherwise instructed. UPS shipments are subject to
a $1.90 (V) per carton handling and insurance charge.
Freight line shipments are sent pre-paid with the
freight being sent directly to the distributor. We will
pre-pay and add the freight to an invoice for a
surcharge of 10% of the freight amount. We will drop
ship directly to the end user upon request for a
$1.90 (V) per carton handling charge plus regular
freight. Please provide appropriate number of labels
with the submission of the order.
Specifications
Shipping weights are approximate and may vary
slightly. Colors shown in the sales literature are
approximate and swatch samples represent an average
production run. Whenever color is critical, please
request an actual mat swatch or imprint color sample.
All sizes listed are nominal and are consistent with
acceptable tolerances within the matting industry
(+ or - 2"). NOTIFICATION MUST BE GIVEN WHEN
EXACT SIZES ARE CRITICAL, I.E. RECESSED FIT.
Although we maintain tight control standards, surface
material and dye colors may vary slightly from one
dye lot to another; therefore, we cannot guarantee
exact color matches from one dye run to another. If
color matching is critical, it must be noted on original
order. We will process the order from one dye lot.
Restocking Charge
When possible, standard stock items in new
re-saleable condition will be accepted for return,
freight pre-paid, subject to a 20% restocking charge.
Guarantee
Flocked mats are guaranteed against manufacturer
defects for one year from delivery under normal
conditions of usage provided that the mat care
instructions are followed. When replacement is
necessary the mat cost will be prorated over 12 months.
Dyed and inlaid mats have a 3 year warranty.
Return Items
If merchandise is claimed to be defective, credit
will be issued only after the materials are inspected
by the manufacturer and determined to be out of
specifications. NO ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED
WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.
Verbal Quotation
Verbal quotations are valid for a 30 day period
and must be documented by a quote number.
Custom Sizes
Custom cuts are available on most of our
products. Please contact your representative for pricing
and availability.
Disclaimed
We will not be responsible for discrepancies in
orders that are not confirmed in writing.
Trademarks, Copyrights & Patents
The messages/logos shown in our literature are
for illustration purposes only. These items may only
be purchased through the company or representative
of that company owning the rights to the logo or
message. The party ordering a specific logo/imprint
copy agrees not to hold Pioneer/First Impressions
liable for any infringement on a trademark, copyright
or patent.
Quantity Discounts
Mat style, imprint color and logo must be the
same for quantity discounts.
Production Runs
Floor mat orders are subject to a +/- 5% over/
under. All variances billed prorata.
