1. Flocking:
The most versatile printing method which is available on most matting surfaces. A heavy adhesive is applied via a screen process which creates the desired image. Nylon flock is then electrostatically imbedded in the adhesive and cross linked to become a part of the matting surface. The flock fibers are UV stable and mildew resistant. See color chart 1 for available standard flock colors. (Letters for single color flocking should be no less than 1" tall. Line width should be no less than 3/8" thick on single color imaging. For fine logo designs we suggest utilizing our multi-color flock process. Our multi-color flock process allows for letters as small as 30 point.)
2. Inlaid Graphics:
A high quality imprint process by which the logo is inserted into the mat in the same material as the ba se mat. The Inlaid Graphics process is available in Nylon Twist and Hydro Mat. Colors available are the same as the base mat material. (Letters should be 2" tall: line should be at least 1/2" thick. Block or bold script letter styles reproduce best. Ornate or thin letters do not reproduce well.
3. Compudye:
An injection dye process where the mat fibers are permanently dyed in the desired image. Variety of color combinations and gradation imaging available. Once the dye is set, the image is considered lock fast and will not fade
or wear. This process creates permanent images in a commercially launderable product. Available in our nylon twist rubber backed product #J603. (For optimum clarity, letters should be 3" tall, 2" for block letters. Ornate or thin letters do not reproduct well. Use contrasting color combinations to make your artwork POP off the mat.)
4. Embossing:
The desired image is produced by melting the matting surface under heat and pressure. The imprint may be in the same color as matting surface or color may be inserted. Available on Ad Comfort product #214.

5. Sublimation 4 Color Heat Dye Transfers:
This method creates vivid four color process images that will not fade or wash out. The base mat color is created with the imprint colors. Available in our Fresco Mat Series.
6. Screen Print Process:
A surface printed method available in up to six imprint colors for those truly price driven promotional mat programs. Imprint color matches available at no extra cost. Choose from two materials; Caliber Rib and Level Loop.
7. Onlay:
The desired image is cut for membranes of Nitrile Rubber. This is placed on top of the uncured Nitrile base. Heat and pressure are applied to cure the rubber and permanently weld the parts together.
8. Molding
A steel mold reflecting the desired image is placed on top of the uncured Nitrile Rubber. When heat and pressure are applied the image is molded into the surface of the mat as the rubber cures.
9. Tufting:
The desired image is tufted into the nap of the mat. Our 10 x 10 (100 tufts/sq. in.) construction generates the clearest images in the industry. Only Solution Dyed yarns are used which enable us to give you a eleven-year color loss warranty.
